The Badgers were scheduled to start the 2022 college football season on September 3rd against Illinois. Now, they will host Illinois State.
The Big Ten is making big changes to the upcoming football schedule.
Wisconsin will open conference play at Ohio State on September 24th. That game was originally scheduled for November 12th.
Illinois is no longer the Badgers’ season-opening opponent.
The Illini will visit Camp Randall Stadium on October 1st.
Other changes include the November 19th game against Nebraska moving to Lincoln. It was originally a home game.
And, the road game against Purdue is moving from West Lafayette to Madison on October 22nd.
