Team officials say Brewers ticket sales are “strong” despite the current standoff between Major League Baseball clubs and their players.
The first labor stoppage in 26 years has basically shutdown trades, free agent signings, and hot stove discussions that keep interest high in the off-season.
Despite that, the Brewers say ticket sales for the 2022 season are approaching 2019 levels.
The Brewers averaged more than 36,000 fans per game during that season – good for eighth among the 30 big league teams and an excellent number for one of the smallest markets in the two leagues.
Last year’s division winners drew 1.8 million fans to American Family Field, ranking 10th for the 2021 season.
