
The UW Green Bay women doused the Flames of the University of Illinois Chicago over the weekend.
The Phoenix went to Chicago Friday night and dominated the home team 75-38.
UW Green Bay put the pedal to the metal right from the opening tip, taking a 23-9 lead into the second quarter, and never looked back.
The Phoenix were led by Luxemburg-Casco grad Cassie Schiltz, who accounted for 15 of her team’s points, while Hailey Oskey added 12, and Brooklyn Blackburn contributed 10.
The win improves the Phoenix to 7-5 on the year and 3-3 in the Horizon League.
Up next, is a home game against Cleveland State on Friday at the Kress Center.
Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
