A man was arrested in Manitowoc yesterday after he allegedly broke several items in his sister’s home.
The Manitowoc Police Department dispatched officers to a residence in the 1400 block of North 7th Street at around 8:00 AM yesterday (January 5th) after they received a family trouble call where they heard screaming in the background.
The officers spoke with the occupant of the residence, who explained that her brother, who has been living with her for a couple of months since coming in from Colorado, became upset when she accidentally woke him up.
The 23-year-old man reportedly broke a lamp, and a TV prior to leaving the residence.
It was discovered that the man had two warrants for his arrest in Colorado, and arrested the man without incident in Two Rivers as he was at his Aunt’s home.
The man was charged with Disorderly Conduct and Criminal Damage to Property, each with Domestic Violence Enhancers.
