Three Schools in Green Bay have gone virtual due to staffing shortages.
The Green Bay Area Public School District announced last night that students will not be going to school today at Washington Middle, Minoka High, and Chappell Elementary Schools.
These students will be learning at home on their computers at least through Monday, as an influx of teachers at those schools have reported COVID symptoms.
Green Bay Superintendent Stephen Murley estimates that around 10 to 15% of their 2,000 teachers are out with symptoms or have tested positive.
Parents can pick up lunches for their at-home students at Washington Middle School and at Chappell Elementary between 10:30 and 12:30 PM.
If the shortage is not resolved by Monday, families will be notified by 9:00 PM on Monday regarding plans for next Tuesday.
