The deadline for filing candidacy paperwork for three Manitowoc County Supervisory Districts has been extended for 72 hours until January 7th at 5 p.m. County Clerk Jessica Backus says the three incumbents in Districts 13,15 and 25 either failed to file a Notification of Noncandidacy or sufficient candidate paperwork with the County Clerk’s Office.
District 13 comprises Wards 1 and 2 in the Town of Schleswig, Ward 1 in the Town of Meeme and Ward 6 in Kiel. District 15 includes the Town of Eaton, Ward 1 in The Town of Liberty, Valders and The Village of St. Nazianz while District 25 encompasses Wards 7 and 8 in the city of Two Rivers.
Candidacy forms must be filed with the County Clerk’s Office at 1010 South 8th Street Manitowoc.
