The 37-10 rout of the Minnesota Vikings could be misleading.
This year’s Green Bay Packers offense is no longer the Red Zone monster it was last year.
During the 2020 season the Packers scored touchdowns on an impressive 80 percent of the times they made it inside the 20-yard line.
Even though the offense is basically the same group of players, the results are different.
While pushing the Vikings around Sunday night, the Packers entered the Red Zone seven times and scored touchdowns on only three visits.
This could become a big deal in the post-season.
So far, Green Bay had scored 39 touchdowns in 67 Red Zone visits – a little over 58 percent.
