Authorities in Shawano County say the explosion and fire at a repair shop on New Year’s Eve has taken a third life.
Investigators think the blast was caused when a pressurized container was punctured at about 12:30 PM in the Town of Lessor.
Fifty-two-year-old Timothy Cook Senior of Oshkosh and 49-year-old Kenrick Larson of Neenah died before they could be rushed to a hospital.
Sixty-year-old James Moon of Keshena died the next day. Forty-five-year-old Brandi Sprang of Keshena is still hospitalized.
Moon and Sprang were airlifted to hospitals Friday. The names of the victims were released Monday.
