Five Badgers have been named to the U-S women’s hockey roster for the 2022 Olympic Winter Games.
U-S-A Hockey made the announcement Saturday.
Former Badgers Alex (Rigsby) Cavallini, Brianna Decker, Hilary Knight, and Abby Roque have been selected to the 23-player roster, as has incoming Wisconsin freshman Caroline Harvey.
The U-S team will be trying to defend its gold medal.
Joining the players will be current U-W director of operations and equipment manager Sis Paulsen who will serve as equipment manager for Team U-S-A.
