The Grant County Sheriff’s Office reports an Illinois man is charged with poaching a deer.
Two witnesses met with authorities Sunday at about 6:30 p-m.
They told of seeing a hunter shoot a deer after legal hunting hours in Woodman Township.
The witnesses provided a vehicle description and a license plate number.
48-year-old Misbau Syed of Naperville, Illinois was tracked down and taken into custody.
He is accused of the illegal shining and shooting of a whitetail deer.
Charges will be referred to the Grant County district attorney.
