The Dane County man charged with murdering his parents made his final court appearance Wednesday before trial.
23-year-old Chandler Halderson has pleaded not guilty to killing Valders natives Bart and Krista Halderson over the Fourth of July weekend and dismembering their bodies.
Their remains were found on multiple properties.
The court appearance yesterday was for a jury status hearing.
Jury selection is set to begin Monday morning.
Halderson is charged with two counts of first-degree intentional homicide, hiding a corpse, mutilating a corpse, and lying about the whereabouts of a missing person.
