Milwaukee firefighters say a Tuesday morning apartment fire has left a man with severe burns and 20 residents displaced.
Emergency responders were called to the apartment building at about 7:45 a-m.
The man suffering burn injuries had to be rescued from a second-floor window.
The victim was taken to Ascension Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment and his medical condition hasn’t been released.
A department spokesperson says 65-to-70 firefighters were on the scene working the fire.
A second person also sought treatment.
No names have been released.
Another fire earlier this week left 18 apartment residents without a home.
