Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers apparently isn’t planning to remove the Milwaukee County prosecutor from his position any time soon.
District Attorney John Chisholm has been criticized for his office recommending a $1,000 bail for the man accused of killing six people when he drove an S-U-V through the Waukesha Christmas Parade.
A group of taxpayers petitioned the governor to remove Chisholm.
Evers says his office will investigate to see if the complaint is justified but he’d rather see voters decide whether Chisholm keeps his job.
