Ralph J. Kujawa, age 98, of 1125 South 24th Street, Manitowoc, was gifted with eternal life on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at River Woods Assisted Living Facility.
He was born April 20th, 1923, in Manitowoc, son of the late Frank and Clara (Bonin) Kujawa. Mr. Kujawa was a veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II with the Engineers Boat and Shore Regiment, receiving an honorable discharge on January 3rd, 1946. He married the late Virginia V. Tomcheck on June 22, 1946. He was employed at Spahn Bakery and retired from Richter Vinegar in 1988. He was an avid bowler and golfer.
Survivors include his sister: Marie Hornes, Appleton; along with a son: Dennis and Kathy (Jeske), Menomonee Falls; two granddaughters: Shari and David Pauers, West Bend; Shannon and Jayson Thomas, Oshkosh; and three great grandchildren: Peyton, Elly and Jacob Pauers.
He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia, a daughter, Rosalie, four brothers: George, Harold, Richard and David.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Marshall, 1114 South 21st Street, Manitowoc. Celebrating the Mass of Christian Burial will Rev. Doug LeCaptain. Following service, entombment will take place at Calvary Catholic Mausoleum where military honors will be accorded by the American Legion Post #88.
Friends may call at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 29, 2021.
