The 2022 Spring Election is shaping up to be an interesting one as three sitting County Board members have filed for non-candidacy.
According to County Clerk Jessica Backus, Michael Williams of Supervisory District 8, Robert Cavanaugh of Supervisory District 16, and Rick Henrickson of Supervisory District 23 will not seek re-election.
There are also several seats being contested as of now, including County Executive.
Maura Yost of Newton will be challenging Bob Ziegelbauer for that role, while Mark Linsmeier is going up against James Lillibridge to represent District 1.
Rita Metzger’s District 3 seat is being challenged by Morgan Sickinger, Norb Vogt looks to overtake Scott Schiesl for the District 7 Seat, Anna Cain looks to oust Kenneth Sitkiewitz in District 9, and Jamie Aulik will be on the ballot against Ryan Phipps in District 11.
Lastly, Charles Hagen Senior is being challenged by Don Weiss in District 24.
