Illinois teen shooter Kyle Rittenhouse has received a standing ovation during a Monday appearance at a conservative conference in Phoenix.
Panel members were discussing the 2020 incident in Kenosha.
The 18-year-old Rittenhouse only made a few comments during the session, but he reflected on how the double-murder trial had matured him.
He also told participants about his decision to take the witness stand.
Rittenhouse was acquitted of all charges in the shooting deaths of Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber, and the wounding of Gaige Grosskreutz.
