
College volleyball National Player of the Year Dana Rettke wouldn’t let Nebraska get the ball over the net as the Badgers claimed the 2021 N-C-A-A Championship Saturday.
Wisconsin took three out of five sets from the Cornhuskers behind Rettke’s career-high 13 blocks.
At one point, the 6′ 8″ middle blocker generated three straight points with a kill and two straight blocks.
The Badgers set a championship match record with 24 blocks while finishing the championship season with a record of 31-3.
Rettke’s 11th kill completed the victory Saturday in Columbus, Ohio.
