United Way Manitowoc County has announced the dates for their Manitowoc County Community Organizations Active in Disaster (COAD) group.
They will be meeting t bi-monthly on the third Thursday of the month from noon to 1:00 PM starting January 20th.
These meetings will be held in the Manitowoc County Emergency Services located at 1024 S 9th Street in Manitowoc.
The COAD is a group of nonprofit organizations, businesses, and government entities that coordinate during a disaster to mobilize the community in providing disaster relief to residents of Manitowoc County.
Local organizations are welcome to participate in the COAD at any time.
By completing a short form, United Way Manitowoc County and Manitowoc County Emergency Services can best understand how an organization would like to participate in the local COAD and/or be called upon when help is needed following a disaster in the community.
At no time is an organization committed to providing services.
