The Packers hold the number-one seed in the N-F-C and a 10-and-3 record despite some really bad special teams performance.
On Sunday Night Football fans watched Green Bay give up a 97-yard punt return touchdown to the Bears, two kickoff returns of more than 40 yards, a muffed kickoff return that went out of bounds at the five-yard line, and a muffed put that was waved off by a penalty.
Pro Football Focus ranks the Packers’ special teams 32nd out of 32 teams.
They are 29th in punt return average, 30th in kickoff return average, and 31st in field goal percentage.
They are dead last in punt return average allowed and have missed a league-high nine field goals.
They’ve also fumbled four times on kick returns and missed 30 tackles during returns.
There really isn’t a positive statistic for the group.
