A 42-year-old Milwaukee man will be sentenced in February for killing 3-year-old Brooklyn Harris in 2019.
A jury convicted Antonio Bratcher on eight charges including first-degree reckless homicide.
The child’s mother says she was driving to pick up a friend when she saw an SUV pull up behind them, heard a gunshot, and saw the rear window shatter.
The mother says she told her children to get down on the rear floorboards of her vehicle. Moments later, the same SUV got close again with the driver firing two more shots. Bratcher was arrested after a high-speed police pursuit.
A fingerprint on the gun used to shoot the child linked him to the killing.
