Authorities are investigating a shooting in the town of Beloit that left one person dead and five wounded.
The Rock County Sheriff’s Office says deputies located three victims Thursday night and two were taken to a hospital while one died at the scene. Emergency room staff contacted officers a short time later to report three more victims arrived there.
Two of the victims are being treated for life-threatening injuries and three were released. Investigators are expected to release more information about the incident this afternoon (Friday).
