One of the area’s most popular meat shops has gotten bigger.
Miesfeld’s Market in Sheboygan has doubled their retail space from 5,000 square feet to 10,000 as a part of a 15,000 square foot expansion.
The additional retail space will make shopping easier, but also will allow the meat processors to carry a wider variety of cuts and options.
The company, which is celebrating its 80th anniversary this year, also has a section called the Chef’s Corner, which offers prepared foods and homemade recipes for those who aren’t as culinarily gifted.
The additional 10,000 square feet of expansion will go toward their processing rooms, and cooler and warehouse space.
