Two area Scouts were honored recently at the Two Rivers City Council meeting.
Mydasia Zipperer and Kimberly Dahl are both 16-years-old, are a part of Boy Scout Troop 6925 in Two Rivers, and recently completed their Eagle Scout Projects.
In order to receive their Eagle Scout Rank, Boy Scouts have to meet numerous requirements, including the planning, and execution of a project that benefits their community or makes life better for others.
For her project, Zipperer designed, built, and installed five bat houses and educational signs about bats at Camp Sinawa, while Dahl designed, and installed a large sign at the entrance of the camp.
Both of these young women passed their Eagle Scout Boards of Review and will earn their Eagle Scout Rank.
Congratulations Mydasia and Kimberly on your significant achievement.
