The Major League Baseball lockout didn’t stop Wednesday’s Triple-A Rule 5 draft.
The Milwaukee Brewers selected a pitcher and lost a catcher.
28-year-old Caleb Boushley is a Hortonville native who played at U-W-La Crosse. He was drafted by the Padres in 2017.
The catcher leaving the Brewers is 25-year-old Kekai Rios, known as a solid receiver, good thrower, but a .242 hitter with four homers in three minor league seasons.
