The Rock County Medical Examiner has released the name of the 69-year-old man who died in a Beloit pool hall fire last weekend.
The preliminary investigation indicates Sherman L. Van Antwerp died of injuries he suffered in the fire.
Firefighters from several agencies responded to the Carom Room at about 2:00 a-m Saturday.
They found the victim’s body inside the structure.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated by the state fire marshal.
