State Representative Ron Tusler is the latest politician to call for the Milwaukee County district attorney to resign.
Appearing on W-SN Television’s “UPFRONT” program, the Harrison Republican said DA John Chisholm either needs to resign or end his bail reform policy.
Several Republican lawmakers have called for Chisholm to step down after his office allowed Darrell Brooks Junior to get out of jail after posting a bond of just one thousand dollars.
Brooks is accused of killing six people and injuring more than 60 at the Waukesha Christmas Parade.
Chisholm has said the bail was mistakenly set too low. Tusler counts that, saying it wasn’t a mistake – it was a decision that led to six deaths.
