Madison police say an anonymous tip led to the arrest of a student who had a loaded gun inside La Follette High School Thursday afternoon.
The incident was reported at about 1:40 PM. Officers say when they got to the classroom where 18-year-old Marquan T. Webb was, he tried to push his way past them to get away.
When a school administrator blocked him, the student was arrested.
Webb was booked into the Dane County Jail on several felony counts, including possession of a firearm on school property.
