It wasn’t a great offensive season for the Badgers football team, but it impressed somebody.
Eight offensive players received some level of honors from the Big Ten as the coaches and media all-conference teams were announced Wednesday.
Tight end Jake Ferguson and guard Josh Seltzner made the first team.
Running back Braelon Allen and tackle Logan Bruss were named to the second team.
Lineman Tyler Beach was on the third team and running back Chez Mellusi and linemen Jack Nelson and Joe Tippmann earned honorable mention.
Allen was edged for the Freshman of the Year award by Ohio State quarterback C-J Stroud.
