A man and woman from Green Bay are being held in the Delta County Jail in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula after a police pursuit last weekend.
No names have been released. Authorities say they drove away from an attempted traffic stop Friday night. During the pursuit, deputies say the front-seat passenger threw items out of the vehicle’s window in an effort to disable the pursuing law enforcement vehicles.
The 23-year-old man who was driving and his 18-year-old female passenger were taken into custody after the fleeing vehicle crashed. Both face drug charges and additional counts like eluding and obstructing justice.
