It’s not just the number of players the Packers continue to lose to injury – it’s how good they are.
Offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins will miss the rest of the season after suffering an A-C-L tear against the Vikings Sunday.
Jenkins will go on injured reserve, and it’s possible Jenkins will have to miss some of next season.
He’s been the Packers starter at left tackles while David Bakhtiari is sidelined.
He has been one of the team’s most consistent performers over the last few years.
He joins All-Pro cornerback Jaire Alexander, All-Pro edge rusher Za’Darius Smith, starting center Josh Myers, starting tight end Robert Tonyan, veteran edge rusher Whitney Mercilus, and others, on injured reserve.
Coach Matt LaFleur says Yosh Nijman is expected to start at left tackle now.
