Badgers football coach Paul Chryst says Nebraska’s quarterback will stress his defense.
Chryst says Adrian Martinez can make big plays with his arm and his legs.
Wisconsin hosts Nebraska Saturday afternoon at Camp Randall in the final home game of the 2021 season.
The kickoff is set for 12:30 p-m.
The Badgers will be looking for their seventh straight victory.
Martinez has had an up-and-down season, earning praise for extending plays, but making too many turnovers while leading the Huskers.
Nebraska has a 3-and-7 record, but all six of the seven defeats have been by a touchdown or less.
Also, tight end Jake Ferguson has been invited to the 2022 Reese’s Senior Bowl in Mobile.
Ferguson is one of the top college tight ends in the country.
He would compete with other highly-rated college seniors in front of N-F-L coaches and scouts.
So far this season, Ferguson has caught 31 passes for 298 yards and two touchdowns.
He leads the team in receptions and is tied for the lead in touchdown passes caught.
Ferguson is one of only two tight ends to have officially accepted the offer to take part in the game next January.
