A Dane County judge has decided the media will be allowed to live stream the trial for 23-year-old Chandler Halderson.
The defense had asked Judge John Hyland not to allow news outlets to broadcast the proceedings online.
Halderson is charged with two counts of first-degree intentional homicide for allegedly killing his parents and trying to hide their bodies.
Jury selection is tentatively scheduled for early January and the trial is expected to last four weeks.
Halderson has a court appearance scheduled for December 13th.
