With the gun deer season only a few days away, hunters across the state are preparing to snag the proverbial 30 pointer.
The DNR is giving some tips for hunters young and old as they get ready to hit the woods on November 20th.
To get started, the DNR is reminding hunters to purchase their deer hunting licenses.
Hunters can buy a deer hunting license through the DNR’s GoWild app. Before buying a license, hunters must complete a hunter education course and have a hunter education safety certificate on file.
Also, remember to review the 2021 Wisconsin Hunting Regulations to make sure you’re aware of the latest updates. Hunters can also check out the DNR’s hunting FAQ page for a reference.
