
Freshman running back Braelon Allen gouged Northwestern’s defense for 173 yards and three touchdowns in Saturday’s 35-7 Wisconsin win.
The Badgers have claimed victory in their last six games.
Allen did most of the heavy work after Chez Mellusi was lost for the season with a knee injury at Rutgers.
Badgers quarterback Graham Mertz threw two touchdown passes.
Turnovers were huge again.
Wisconsin defenders picked off four passes by Wildcat quarterbacks and the visitors’ only touchdown came on a fumble return.
