Still missing several starters, the short-handed Bucks were no match for Atlanta in a 120-100 loss Sunday.
Giannis Antetokounmpo returned to the lineup and scored 26 points.
Atlanta followed Trae Young’s lead while finally ending a six-game losing streak.
Young hit 8-of-13 3-pointers while scoring 42 points, and also had 10 assists.
The Bucks expect to get All-Star forward Khris Middleton back for Wednesday’s game against the Lakers.
That will start a five-game homestead for Milwaukee which has seen its record fall to 6-8.
