A Manitowoc Lincoln High School swimmer can hold her head up high after this weekend’s WIAA State Swim Meet.
Morgan Meyer finished 10th out of 24 swimmers in the 200 Yard Freestyle in the Waukesha South Pool with a finals time of 1:54.39 seconds.
That event was won by Lucy Thomas of Brookfield East, who beat her teammate Reese Tiltman by a mere point 65 seconds with a time of 1:46.82 seconds.
Meyer also finished 16th in the 100-yard Freestyle with a finals time of 52.81 seconds.
Abby Wanezek of Brookfield East took home the gold in that event with a time of 49.35 seconds.
Brookfield East also Dominated the Team standings, earning 304.5 points, 40.5 points ahead of runner-up Arrowhead, and 111.5 ahead of third-placed Middleton.
