For the third time in four seasons, Brewers closer Josh Hader has been announced as the Trevor Hoffman N-L Reliever of the Year.
Hader also won the award in 2018 and 2019, and his teammate, Devin Williams, claimed it last year.
Chicago White Sox closer Liam Hendriks won the 2021 Mariano Rivera A-L Reliever of the Year award for the second straight season.
Hader was on a hunting trip when he was notified.
The hard-throwing lefty made 60 appearances during the 2021 season, with an E-R-A of 1.23 and converting 34-of-35 save opportunities.
He held opposing batters to a .127 average.
The Brewers were 76-and-one when leading a game after eight innings this season.
