There are numerous events scheduled in honor of Veterans Day.
Manitowoc Lutheran High School is hosting a private event today, featuring guest speaker Abby Stuebs.
Then tomorrow, the Two Rivers Public School District will host an event at the High School. All veterans are welcome to join them at 8:00 AM.
The traditional event at Manitowoc Lincoln High School was changed to a more private event, where veterans went into the classrooms.
There is also a ceremony scheduled to take place at the Veteran’s Memorial in Manitowoc, which will be held at 10:30 AM. The oldest living veteran in the County, Harold Kummer will be on hand for that event.
There are also a plethora of restaurants and pubs giving discounts to veterans, the full list of which can be found by visiting the Veteran Service Section of ManitowocCountyWI.gov.
