Wauwatosa police now say three officers are recovering after suffering wounds at a hotel last weekend.
Initial reports listed the number of wounded officers as two.
They were following up on reports of gunfire at the Radisson Hotel Saturday night when they were met with gunfire.
The officers’ names haven’t been released.
They say they returned fire, but the shooter wasn’t hit.
He was taken into custody and two firearms were recovered from his room.
That person’s name hasn’t been released and there has been no announcement about charges being filed.
