Four people are without a home following a fire last night in Appleton.
Crews were sent to the 1000 block of South Wiemar Street at around 11:30 Sunday evening to tend to the fire.
Smoke and flames were seen on the backside of the home, which was subdued in around 15 minutes.
No one was inside the home when crews arrived, and no one was injured.
The fire was believed to have been caused by the improper disposal of fire pit ashes and caused an estimated $60,000 in damage.
The American Red Cross is assisting the family of four who was residing at the residence.
