Janesville police have joined the investigation into a race-themed social media post that has a student at Milton High School facing discipline.
The post included a picture of high school players during a football game juxtaposed to racist and violent imagery.
The school district isn’t saying what discipline will be applied.
The police department says it has assigned a detective to the case and interviews are being conducted.
Both the school district and the police emphasize that neither player shown in the image consented to the use of their likeness.
