The Crime Prevention Committee is the only group scheduled to gather today in Manitowoc.
They will convene in the Police Department’s Meeting and Training Room at 6:30 PM, where they will give the public time to voice their input.
They will then receive a report from the treasurer, and updates from the Triad, their high school members, the Police and Sheriff’s Departments, the School Resource Officer, the City Council, and the Citizen’s Academy.
Then, after Healthiest Manitowoc County talks about substance abuse prevention in the city, the Committee will talk about the latest scam to hit the Lakeshore, the Social Security scam.
They will also continue their planning of National Night out before taking election nominations ahead of the December election.
This is the final meeting for the week in the Clipper City.
