A woman is facing charges after she allegedly stole and sold a Manitowoc man’s cellphone.
The victim reported the theft to police on October 30th, explaining that a woman he knew had taken the phone, along with $140 cash.
The woman was at the victim’s house the day before, asking for a ride to Appleton.
When the man declined to give her a ride, the two had a conversation in his garage.
Once the woman left, he realized his phone and the cash were gone.
The victim was able to track the phone to EcoATM, where police were able to get it back for him.
The woman was arrested yesterday (November 2nd) on an outstanding warrant and has been charged with Theft, and Felony Bail Jumping.
