Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo says he doesn’t like playing center and he hopes Brook Lopez returns soon.
But, Antetokounmpo blocked four shots playing in the middle, leading the way as Milwaukee ended its three-game losing streak with a 117-89 rout of the Detroit Pistons.
The defending N-B-A champions claimed the win with four starters still sidelined – Lopez, Jrue Holiday, Khris Middleton, and Donte DiVincenzo.
Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer says his team really needed the win, improving its record to 4-4.
Detroit was hurt by shooting only 8-47 on its 3-point attempts.
The Bucks return to action at home Friday against the New York Knicks.
