It isn’t known when he might play again, but All-Pro linebacker Za’Darius Smith rejoins his Packers teammates at practice this week.
He’s been recovering from surgery on his back and tweeted, “I feel like a new man.”
Head coach Matt LaFleur says the team is hopeful it will get him back on the field with half the 2021 season left.
The Green Bay defense has been performing well without him, winning seven games in a row after dropping the season opener.
Smith was an All-Pro in 2020 and made the N-F-L Pro Bowl in back-to-back seasons.
The next game for the Packers is Sunday at Kansas City.
