There is a benefit planned for this weekend to “Help the Helper”.
As we previously reported, Lori Krueger has spent the last 40 years of her life as an EMT/paramedic and as a 911 dispatcher, helping thousands along the way.
She reportedly began suffering from back pain in September of last year and was in and out of the hospital as her condition worsened.
It was eventually discovered that Lori had several pockets of infection around her spinal cord, and was diagnosed with Cauda Equina Syndrome, which is the compression of nerves in the lower back.
To help raise money to cover her medical expenses, a benefit will take place on Saturday at Meat’s Opera House in St. Nazianz.
There will be a brat fry, bake sale, silent auction, and raffle basket, and a K9 demonstration at 1:00 PM.
If you wish to help Kreuger but are unable to attend, you can donate by visiting GoFundMe.com, and searching “Help the Helper”.
