A Manitowoc man is facing charges after he allegedly threw a dresser drawer at his girlfriend’s head.
According to police reports, officers were sent to meet a woman near the Kwik Trip on North 8th Street who had called 911 multiple times at around 7:30 PM on Wednesday.
The woman told the officers that she and her boyfriend had been arguing when he told her to get out of his house.
She began packing her things, and while standing near the front door, the 54-year-old man threw a dresser drawer at her.
The drawer struck her in the head, but the victim did not need any medical attention.
The suspect denied throwing anything at the woman, but the victim reiterated her story, so the man was arrested.
He is facing charges of Disorderly Conduct and Battery, each with Domestic Violence Enhancers.
