Police at Marquette University are warning about an increase in armed robberies near the Milwaukee campus. Officers say two suspects walked into a business Monday afternoon, pointed a weapon at a store employee, and stole several items.
They fled in a dark-colored sedan with no license plate.
This is the fourth armed robbery near the MU campus in two weeks.
Marquette University Police Chief Edith Hudson said they are stepping up patrols and working with Milwaukee Police to try and find the armed robbery suspects.
In late September, several people were hit by plastic bullets from pellet guns fired by masked suspects in a vehicle.
