The Two Rivers City Council is now full.
City manager Greg Buckley explained to Seehafer News how the Council filled the seat left vacant by the departure of Curt Andrews last night (October 25th) at their work session meeting.
“City Council heard presentations from the four finalists, Greg Conan, Heath Roth, Scot Steckmester, and Larry Thomas,” Buckley explained.
Council members then used a ratings matrix to rate the candidates and voted on who they wanted to fill the role.
They unanimously chose Larry Thomas.
Buckley went on to say that “He will serve until the seat is filled for the balance of the term at next April’s election.”
Whoever is elected into the role will then be on the council for the remaining two years left on the term for that seat.
