The man who set a Waukesha woman on fire in September of 2020 is sentenced to 35 years in prison.
Police said Amber Fuller was walking her dogs last fall when Joel Murn poured an accelerant on her and lit her on fire.
Fuller suffered second and third-degree burns on her back, stomach, and arm and spent six days in the hospital.
Murn told police he mistook her for a cousin he intended to kill.
He was also charged with setting his grandparents’ shed and garage on fire and striking his grandfather with his vehicle.
He pleaded no contest in July to attempted first-degree homicide and arson charges.
